Millerton Lake was created by the construction of 319 ft high Friant Dam. Millerton lake is a popular destination for boating and many water activities. The lake is know for having some of the warmest water in the Central Valley. The Dam was built between 1937 and 1942 as a project to provide irrigation water to the southern San Joaquin Valley.
If you want to follow the locals you will notice many make a stop at Friant Depot on their way back from a day at Millerton Lake. Conveniently adjacent to a gas station, many take a few minutes to fill up their boats here. Visitors often times stop by Pizza Factory for a slice of their favorite pizza or baked cookie. Plus don’t forget to try their amazing Greek salad!

From small tabletop topiary designs to life-size topiary animals, each topiary frame is made by hand with utmost care.
