Clovis, California was established in 1890 as a freight stop for the San Joaquin Valley Railroad by a group of Fresno businessmen and Michigan railroad speculator Marcus Pollasky. Downtown Clovis has kept its charm and is a popular gathering place for entertainment. Clovis is also known for it’s abundant walking trails, parks, shopping centers and beautiful communities. Clovis Unified School District is one of the highest performing in the State of California and a big attraction to a lot of new families moving in.

Downtown Clovis provides for a great variety of dining options. Salsa’s is one of the most popular places to eat at if you are craving home made tortillas and Mexican cuisine. DiCicco’s is also there as well as some of the best burgers in town at House of Juju’s. As you stroll around you will keep discovering new places to try out.

Clovis Fest

One of the best parts about living in Clovis is enjoying the many events that take place throughout the year. Clovis fest with Hot Air Balloon Fun Fly is just one of dozens you will enjoy. Other’s include weekly farmer’s markets, several parades, Clovis Rodeo, Old Town Flea Market, Car Shows, Holiday events etc

Downtown Clovis is full of places to visit. Here are some examples of museums, florists, antique shops and the general scenery you can expect to find. Enjoy a walk while sipping your coffee,  hot chocolate or bakery item from Kuppa Joy located on the main street of Clovis Ave. There are also several hair salons, boutique shops, yoga and a Community Senior center.
